Home Care Service Southern Visby

The home care service in southern Visby consists of a team of experienced and dedicated employees who work every day with the best interests of the users at heart.
We work closely with other home care groups in Visby. Together, we create a safe and caring environment for those we serve.
We are now looking for two new colleagues to join our team! The positions are temporary, starting as agreed and lasting for one year. You will receive thorough training and continuous support throughout your employment.

Your Responsibilities
Your role includes providing support and service in daily life to our users and contributing to a well-functioning operation. You will work together with your team to ensure high quality in both service and social interventions, where every task is important for the users' safety and well-being.
Your main responsibilities:
- Plan the day's tasks together with colleagues
- Perform service tasks in ordinary housing, such as cleaning and laundry
- Food handling and purchasing
- Preparation and follow-up work around meals
- Waste management in residences and facilities
- Assist with deliveries and inventory management in the operation
- Maintenance of storage and work clothes, including laundry
- Support responsible parties in taking care of cars and bicycles as time permits
The assignment is adapted based on the needs of the operation and the employee's competencies.
You have a general responsibility to work according to Region Gotland's mission and quality requirements, perform interventions according to assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act, document and access information according to current routines in the operational systems, and report deviations according to both the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Social Services Act (SoL). You will notice and report risks or incidents within the work environment. The interventions are carried out in accordance with current guidelines for basic hygiene routines, and you are also expected to actively participate in workplace meetings and work environment efforts.
Who are you?
You have a basic education, good knowledge of Swedish, and computer skills for documentation. A driver's license (B) is required. Experience in care or service is an advantage, but the most important qualities for this role are interest, an empathetic approach, and social competence.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, proactive, and structured, with the ability to plan and prioritize your work. You are flexible and adaptable, even when circumstances change, and you feel confident making your own decisions with good judgment, even in situations that require quick decisions.
You have good collaboration skills and communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, users, and relatives. Through your relationship-building and service-oriented approach, you create safety and trust in your interactions with others.
You work from a holistic perspective and understand how your role contributes both to the users' best interests and to the overall goals of the operation. You follow guidelines and action plans with responsibility and accuracy, while also being attentive to individual needs and able to adapt your working methods accordingly.
